Most have not. Islam is one. (And, I would add, Puritan-derived Christianity.)<br /><br />Judaism has, correctly, throughout the ages, gauged human impulses versus the right path; that is, making use of human impulses to serve the greater good, which is responsible and happy life. It is all to be found in the Torah -- extremes notwithstanding.<br /><br />And therein lies the envy. Because other cultures haven't managed to surf impulse vs. responsibility, creates a resentment against that which has got it right (for the most part).<br /><br />My two cents, anyway.Eowynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11166378681749345402noreply@blogger.com
