I was listening to an audio biography of comedian W.C. Fields this morning on my way to work, and by coincidence there was an anecdote that summarized much of my feelings towards elections in general, and this one in BC in particular.
Apparently Fields was very interested in politics and current events, so on one election day a curious colleague asked him, "Who did you vote for, Bill?"
"I never vote for people", Fields replied; "I only vote against them."
