Support the European Declaration of Independence: any polity or ideology that has no reasonable basis to provide lasting order among gangs of men has

no right to exist.

The people who run Europe think the angels of history are on their side. They, after all, are in the vanguard of the movement to end the old Europe of nation states, an old order that ostensibly killed its legitimacy to exist along with many of its people in the wars of 1914-45.

But for how long can we accept their account of history if the proposed cure seems worse than the disease? As Fjordman reports, the oligarchs of the EU are actively dismissing the electorates and national parliaments of Europe; they are promoting a suicidal assimilation of the West with the Arab world; they are creating a highly taxed, highly regulated society that destroys what is left of the ability for local self-rule and for the trust relationships that are essential to any productive society; they are turning a blind eye to the Jihadist criminality that terrorizes the streets of European cities.

The results? Well, one of the latest is that Native Dutch are rioting in the streets of Utrecht. Don't miss Fjordman's reporting and proposal of a European Declaration of Independence at the end of the linked article:
If these demands are not fully implemented, if the European Union isn't dismantled, Multiculturalism isn't rejected and Muslim immigration isn't stopped, we, the peoples of Europe, are left with no other choice than to conclude that our authorities have abandoned us, and that the taxes they collect are therefore unjust and that the laws that are passed without our consent are illegitimate. We will stop paying taxes and take the appropriate measures to protect our own security and ensure our national survival.
As I see it, we have no reason to believe that the nation-state, and a true inter-national order - one where differences among nation-states are negotiated in respect for self-ruling nations, and not in an attempt to transcend national sovereignty through the authority of some elite post-national, post-democratic class of bureaucratic regulators - have been surpassed (anywhere other than in elitist political fantasies) by any higher principle of order, or that any higher order is ever possible. Whatever the problems that a global system of nation-states will encounter, whatever the historical failures in the former half-realized inter-national systems of nation-states, we must reject the present EU as one of the most significant threats to global order in our time. Can you imagine a Eurabia, with its continuing demographic and spiritual crisis, its continuing economic decline, and with nuclear weapons, falling further under the influence of Arab-Jihadist powers?

I call on all Canadians to support a European Declaration of Independence. In any interaction you have with European people, let them know you cannot tolerate support for the myth that the EU or its ruling ideologies are in any way productive of peace, order, and good government, let alone economic competitiveness. Shun them as much you can in business and social life; and when they call you a racist, let them know you are inured to the taunts of those who would destroy borders and self-ruling systems of order in the name of some tyrannical fantasy of multiculti one-worldism. Then wish them God speed when the mob, whatever kind, comes baying at their doors. And let them know you will be pressuring our government to allow refugee or immigration status only to those who fought for national order in Europe and not for gnostic fantasy ideologies. But don't lose your humanity over it and wish them all their best on their early retirement in Casablanca or Tunis, Venezuela or Cuba.
