Blue scarfs for a clear horizon: meeting tonight
Of all weeks, it looked like we might not be able to get together this evening, due to work piling up from the holidays.
From pulling a few all-nighters these last evenings, I can now confirm that at least I will be there, at the usual time, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm, in our usual location, the Atrium within the Central Vancouver Public Library, for the usual reasons: to meet, discuss and plan for a new Covenant for Canada.
As ever, we will be wearing blue scarves in solidarity with our fellow revolutionaries in France, in hopes of achieving the same objective, symbolized by the blue scarf: a cloudless sky, a clear horizon, for our nation, as the french meet to renew the future of their own.
It's easy to see that things are bad; it's even easier to complain about how bad things are. What's really hard, and most worth doing, is committing to following up the complaints with action, and verifying that what you see is what others have found to be so, as well.
Hope to see you there!

I'm coming; see you there
I was there, and I did see you. I also saw a new person sitting with us. Very happy to have our friend along, and I look forward to seeing all again next Thursday.
Thanks everybody for coming last night, what an experience that was.
By the time I got home I was still so affected by our talk and especially that of the new voice that joined us, I ended up staying up far later than I should have, to try and shape my emotions into more intellectual form.
Let me know what you think of the new video...
