Hmm, I wouldn't read too much into these comments. I mean, I don't think you should be fearing some kind of Communisty-party state; I think he is talking about building up peace-corps type organizations. He may well slash the military budget, however. There is much more to fear in Europe and Israel's future and we have been living with these fears already for some time now. Obama's domestic party won't last long, once the spending and inflation get out of control. It may be painful but the drunk and the wake up may do more good than another four years of insane hatred from the Democrats of their president.
But I hear a lot of the democratic congress will be fiscal conservatives.
I now look at this from Jonah Goldberg's perspective, thanks to his work, Liberal Fascism, in which Goldberg details the fascist penchant for "militarizing" civility. Obviously it's a long and detailed argument that I can't cover here but for those able to consult the work itself it's worth the time. This latest Obama scheme is the very thing Goldberg refers to.

The State National Guard, each of the 50 states should be used to protect our borders and assist local police...... not some civilian army proposed by Obama. Just where does he intend to acquire the money to pay for this? Raise our taxes? And just who will he recruit for this army of his? Will he call them "The Brown Shirts" or Obama's Storm Troopers? I suspect that he will use them to confiscate our arms when he enacts his "No Gun Owership Law". You people better understand what is happening here in America.
Yeah... I don't trust Barack "Hussein" Obama as far as I could throw him with my left pinky, and that's not very far at all. We as human beings have a certain set of rights which no man, woman or otherwise on this planet should ever take from us, and to the best of my knowledge Obama poses a threat to those rights. People, he could very well spark a bigger escalation within this country than anything anyone in this lifetime has ever seen. I worry for this country, and can only hope that there are enough people left who have their heads on straight that we can prevent a complete and total disaster from occurring.
Obama is the same personality type as Hitler and all those narcissistic dictators. Many Americans are upset with his election and it has nothing to do with race. As far as I know, he still hasn't provided proof positive that he is a natural born citizen. And no one in authority seems to be worried about establishing that. He comes from the notoriously corrupt Chicago political machine. A "citizen army" is his way of standing against our traditional military as they are sworn to uphold the constitution, not the President. I would be willing to bet that sometime before his term is up, he'll try to eliminate term limits for Presidents. I don't trust him any further than I could throw him. Take away his teleprompters and his golden speech evaporates. He's an empty suit. I pray that when 2012 rolls around, all the idiots who elected this pretender see him for what he is.
I have never met such a bunch of paranoid people anywhere else in the world. Naturally a person with a name like OBAMA with extra emphasis on "HUSSAIN" must be considered detrimental to the USA. Unlike our much trusted blue eyed boy G W BUSH who was brain dead and stolen the election, and was the worst President ever. Bush has brought this country to the brink of financial, economic and military disaster!
The office of the president in America has been a sham since the death of JFK. There is a shadow government in place run by the banks that has been taking power by decades behind the scenes, and it wouldn't matter if a democrat or a republican were voted in, they are all owned by the power of the banking elite. The New World Order was planned long ago, and the economic collapse was perpetuated by the actions of the banks in order to have a prime opportunity to "reorganize" with a New World Order - in essense, an Anglo power bloc to compete large-scale with China and Europe. the Federal Reserve Bank in America is a *privately owned bank* and was not related to the government in any way until they fooled Woodrow Wilson into signing the Federal Reserve Act. (He apologized to the American public on film as he exited his office at the end of his term, and warned us.) The information is out there, for anyone not too smug or insecure to just look. I would warn, though, it is very scary. This is a long video but it is very comprehensive and some of the most important info (in my opinion) is near the end. I voted for this man, so I hope that others will be brave enough to put the media hype and the marketing of this man aside, and just watch it.

Looking at some of the comments here it is sadly obvious that some folks don't have a clue what is taking place in this country. It amazing how stupid people can be! When you wake one day and find all of your rights are gone and the history of Hitler's nazi regime is repeating itself right under your dumb noses maybe you will see the light but it will be too late. Some people will deserve what is coming for they are the ones enabling these crooks in Washington to keep moving ahead. Some of you have let the government think and speak for you all your miserable lives and you don't know how to make a simple decision for yourselves.

If people don't wake up to the reality of what is going on in this great land of ours...It will very soon be too late to do anything about it. The present administration under the dictatorship of President Obama have gone against the U.S. Constitution and the Bill Of Rights in so many ways that I can't believe there are still people so blind as to continue to support this demon. Pray for our Country, our troops, our Freedom, and our lives.
