Obamanation

Wolf Howling: Obama, Criminalizing Politics & Thinking The Unthinkable raises the question of whether the American left is preparing to put the Bush administration on trial for "war crimes". The left's ongoing descent into victim politics and the attempt to criminalize opposition to their death cult is frightening to anyone who remembers the conditions for a free society and for duly elected historical actors who would think to bring new and liberating paradigms in international law into existence. The left, of course, want the world to be ruled by Harvard law school versions of Saddam Hussain: you can't do that, nothing new, too risky; just keep paying for the parade of victims of the present system.

Meanwhile U.S. News & World Report is apparently erasing many comments from its site, because readers are making unflattering remarks about this O-holy sign

One Nation, Under a New Obama Salute - Washington Whispers (usnews.com)

Only a "Black" candidate can today have that kind of sign. Even if, say, the Nobel Oracle, Al Gore, were back in Presidential politics and had one like it people would mock him to death. But all those with nostalgia for a more ritually compact and Gnostic culture represented through the highest office of the secular state find Obama appealing because his victimary blackness allows him to claim a cultural centrality that no member of the race deemed free can any longer claim without allegations of megalomania. But African-Americans cannot be denied their "FDR" or "JFK" moment, even if that moment has passed for the society in the vanguard of human freedom. This is how we "liberate" people in the fallen postmodern age of tribal culture cult.

This isn't going away after the election, assuming Osama loses. Look at the fury of the Left with Bush today because he won two elections against their wishes. Imagine how the crazies will take yet another loss. And then another!

As the Leftist become more delusional by the election years, imagine how far gone they'll be in eight years from now if things continue like this. They'll be in their thousands, a militant gang of violent psychos who are so detached from America that only they will be able to understand each other's speech. We have here the makings of a Sendero Luminoso.

The graphic is obscene at every level, from the ambiguity of the rising/setting sun; the connotations of a "sneak attack"; the disturbing sexual image; and to my mind, the shocking cluelessness of the idealization of the Soviet Socialist Realism of the style, used in a state of ahistorical coolness. This group-think Sorelian "myth" is frightening, and because it seems not to frighten those who like it, it's all the more frightening. Our nation is in peril. This Irrationalism of the 60s and to our time is a replay of the wandervogel movement. It portends the worst. Left Dhimmi Fascsim is accurate on all levels.

If Dhimmi Watchers come by with an address for ProKoln, please leave me a note here for now.

Well, you've got to think that if there is a convention floor full of people making this sign, it will probably do more to hurt than harm the candidate.

Then again, we may be disappointed to find otherwise...

I was shocked yesterday to see a brand new book by, of all people, Vincent Bugliosi, on charging George Bush with murder.

If the author of Helter Skelter (and prosecutor of Charlie Manson) reaches the conclusion that it's justice to prosecute an ex-President for his politics, then that's a good indication of how widespread the belief has become.

It's not just bad, it's not just terrible... it's an obamanation.
