Somebody do something about Mugabe before everyone's a multi-trillionaire

That's worth three loaves of bread, yesterday.

I personally favor standing by and doing nothing. No food aid, no debt relief, no refugee resettlement in the West, nothing. Zimbabwe chose to go down this route. So be it if there is widespread famine and bloody unrest. If they do not suffer the harsh consequences of their own actions and keep getting one undeserved break after another from the West's poverty industry whenever they screw up, they will never learn to stand on their own two feet.

Well, I agree with you up to a point. I don't think we can stand by, watch and let people starve without damaging our own humanity. But then again, the more we subsidize dysfunction the more we will get it. So, it's a catch-22 we need to figure out...

Anyway, my idea was that it should be someone in Zimbabwe who does something about Mugabe. Does no one there in his circle have the guts?

I was returning home and the border guard said: "How long have you been away?" I said, "A couple of years." When he asked what I'd been doing I told him I'd be wandering around. He said: "What? Are you a millionaire?" "Well, yeah," I said, and I pulled out a few billion in money like Zimbabwe's. Oh, the frown. Not friendly at all.
